Dr Hulda Swai

Dr. Hulda Swai holds a BSc (University of Dar-es-Salaam), an MSc (Technology and Development in Chemical Engineering) (University of London) and a PhD (Biomedical Materials Science) from the University of London. Currently, she is the Research Group Leader of the Encapsulation & Delivery (E&D) Research Group (Polymers & Composites Competency Area, Materials Science & Manufacturing Business Unit) of the CSIR. Her current research involves optimizing the polymeric nano-drug delivery system through in vitro and in vivo studies, and investigation of intracellular delivery of the nano-particles, PK and PD studies and pre-clinical trials.

Dr. Hulda leads the Nano medicine platform.
